Today, for What Would You Do Wednesday, I have something a little unusual. I saw this at an antique shop and wondered, "What would someone do with that thing?"
Yes, that's right. It's a bomb. Is it even legal to own this? Seriously, I wonder.
If you saw it in a shop would it catch your attention? Would you have an idea for how to use it? Inside or outside, tell me how you'd use an old bomb for decoration.
I've decided not to use the Linky Tools for this feature this time since it's been a little temperamental lately. Just leave your idea in the comments below and feel free to leave a link to your blog.

What a weird find!!!! I personally wouldn't do a thing with it. I would just find a nice place in my front room to display it and as new people are coming to the house, show them....my nice bomb that I have. Nice conversation piece!
ReplyDeleteGreat site!

I would paint some nice metallic color, maybe antique bronze or something along that line, and place in the landscape as a sculpture. I think you could also plant some succulents in the spaces at the bottom.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I love the idea of making it into a garden sculpture, I can't deny the fun of making conversation about having a "practice bomb" somewhere in the house.
ReplyDeleteSo thanks Sam for the winning idea. Check out Sam's blog at http://momundecided.blogspot.com/
That piece has "boy" written all over it! How about adding some cool hooks and use it as a place to hang up all those t-shirts I find on my son's bedroom floor!!!
